This happens to me at least once a week:

Me: I don't have access to the password for your email address. You'll have to talk to your mail administrator.
Them: But I AM the mail administrator!

Ugh. Although I had a great laugh at one customer who wrote a long and descriptive totaly rude letter about how crappy the incomming mail server was and how we were incopetatnt bastards who couldn't even get email right.

Dig mx showed us that he ran his own mail server :)
