Some employee tells me that they are getting “an” error message but when he clicks “continue” it works fine.
I tell him I’ll look into it.
Next thing he emails, not me, or my manager or his director but the bloody CEO saying I haven’t gotten back to him yet and I said I would !!!!!

Why the hell can’t he email ME what a (*&&^%%$%**$@)
I want to swear at him a LOT but I would be sacked.

Stupid really because next time he emails in a job he will go to the bottom of the shit heap ………………why are people such a F%^$@#$ pain in the Ass????

Yeah, what's with those 'tards lately ?
I had to deal with the same kind of dumbass yesterday. Except (I suppose I was lucky) he "only" called my boss.

The asshole had e-mailed me back earlier that day to tell me to close the freaking ticket !

I got a new position recently, so I'm walking on eggshells ... But this guy had no fucking reason whatsoever to call my boss. I had nicely told him to call me or e-mail me back if he's still having problems.

The company I used to work for made this a regular habit. Hell, we busted our asses, and had a 98% fix within an hour rate. And they STILL emailed the CIO and complained. This wasn't good enough for them.

Fortunately, we had a "get them off the phone" policy that was endorced by management. Just because their computer was on the fritz didn't mean they couldn't sell jewelry. They can go back to the computer later.

Then two years after we got 98%, the outsoursed us to India. Some thanks we got.

Saddly, they'll take an 18% fix rate so long as it is 80% cheaper than the 98% fix rate.

Fortunately, after years of customer complaints, this trend is starting to show signs of reversal.

Great icon, great LJID. You should get one of those thinkgeek shirts that says "There's no place like 127.0.0.1"

This is when you get to be evil. Get the computer name and go into his computer the back way. Then go to his cookies, program files and history and show how much he has been either

a: surfing the web
b: non corporate applications he has on the pc
c: look for mp3s on the pc and or movies. (liability depending where they came from and your company could get sued)

then let it slip how much you know about his activity and see how fast they run to the ceo and let it slip to your manager and or his manager on all the crap you found on the pc.

They will never screw with you again.
