More of a rant toward a "fellow tech" than an end user. But when we are slap bang in the middle of a major several-thousand-user upgrade project you do NOT take one of the main systems offline "because I didn't think anyone used it"
Considering how long he has been working as a contractor for us, considering he knows how many layers of paperwork you have to file just to get permission to reboot one of the servers, and considering he knows how fucked off I get if I have to deal with irate users at 8:00am when it is something we've done then he has no excuse.
