Well, that was wonderful. We lost our entire internet including servers at work.

At least they put up an IVR for our customers. In fact, they turned the phones off!

There is a god...20 minutes of bliss

Crap, its back on. *expletive here*

Wow, that must be nice...usually if we loose connection, the phone monkeys get to take lots of notes and hope it comes back soon. "Sorry sir we can't fix $STUFF, we can't get to the servers. Yes, that is bad."

Makes me so glad I'm off the phones...

we lost our internet and WAN links for 16 hours overnight thanks to Bell Canada. Their switch broke, and they didn't have replacement parts.

I'm glad I wasn't working that day.

Damn, they NEVER, EVER shut our phones down. :( Even when AT&T lost their entire midwest backbone, which split our network in half, we had to keep answering calls.

When there were blizzards at the west site, they rolled the phones 100% to us in the East site for 3 DAYS. When we had 4 hurricanes in a row here in the East site, WE FUCKING HAD TO WORK! There were a few days they rolled the phones, but it was only 1 day here, 1 day there.
