Me: "How can I help you today?"
Idiot: "Well my eTrans module has completely disappeared!"
Me: "It's disappeared? What specifically do you mean?"
Idiot: "It's not there anymore?"
Me: "Do you mean that the icon on your toolbar is no longer there?" (common enough, the toolbar icons can hide themselves sometimes when you don't mean them to)
Idiot: "No, the entire program is completely gone!"
Me: ...
Me: "Ok, that is a little unlikely, but lets go ahead and click on X, then Y, then Z. What comes up on your screen?"
Idiot: "The eTrans program window comes up."
Me: *uh-HUH* "All right, please click "Ok" to close that window. But the icon is not where is usually is?"
Idiot: "Yes! It's completely disappeared."
Me: "Ok, I want you to right click on the toolbar and then left click on the words 'customize toolbar'. Do you have the customize screen up now?
Idiot: "Yes."
Me: "Over on the right hand side where it says "available icons" do you see "eTrans submission" listed?
Idiot: "No."
Me: "You don't see it listed on the right hand side anywhere."
Idiot: "No it was over on the left hand side with the rest of the icons the whole time. I found the icon on the toolbar now."

*hangs up*

Fucking hell... I almost thought this was a prank, but this was a DOCTOR's office calling us for god's sake.
