Date: 2005-06-29 01:45 am (UTC)don't laugh.
them: "You know that CD you gave me with the files on it?"
me: "yeah?"
them: "it won't let me overwrite them with the changes"
or
them: "Can you give me a bigger CD?" (bear in mind here that there's usually less than 10 meg on a cd, and because of equipment stupidity, disks pretty much have to be finalised to be sure of working)
me: "why?"
them: "I went to save my changes to the file and it says there's no space left on the cd"
or
them: "I want my files in a specific order"
me: "preface each filename with a number, starting with either 00 or 01 ..."
them: "I tried that, but it puts chapter 10 right after chapter 1"
me: "_00_, _01_. you need to use two digits"
them: "oh"

Date: 2005-06-28 12:31 pm (UTC)In order to process your request properly, I've stapled your file to the top of the CD, making completely sure that it will be the very first one on it.
Enjoy.
