Holy crap, I might have to take up drinking very hard.

The email server went down for the west coast. Yeehaw. We lost Nevada, Arizona, and California.

That and the fact I've had anal gamers and their internet connections, combined with complete morons today...

I have to stop...I'm stressed out of my mind.

You want to talk about anal gamers?

When I used to work at the NOC for a large ISP that used to be centered out of Atlanta, I got a call one night from the tech-to-NOC bridge. Seems like they had gotten a call from a gamer who wanted us to make sure he was 3 hops away from his Everquest server.

After a bit of a laugh, and some beration to the bridge, I explained to the bridge that in 3 hops he wouldn't even be out of our building, let alone to his EQ server, and the only way that could possibly happen is if we physically hosted the EQ server into whichever datacenter he was calling into.

I still get a laugh out of that to this day.
