If at any point in the conversation, I give a direction and the EU says "hold on, I'm not at the computer/it's not turned on" or something equally asinine, I get to hang up. Right then and there.

forgive me for posting to an old post, but our phone system reminds users to be in front of their computer and that it needs to be on. 15% of the calls i get involve people STILL not in front of their computer. 'i'm in my living room, give me a minute while i go turn it on.' -_-
