I always heard download used for for installing when I was on the Gateway phone. The worst I ever heard was a young ghettoite women refer the the tower as her modem. After I explain the simple difference of the two she said she would have to call back later. I think she knew that trying to use a computer was way out of her league.

i'll ask, well did you install the software or download it? "i downloaded it from the disc"...

It people wasting time like that, which causes those hilarious voice mails i get... so at least there is some reward.
