Happy customers
May. 13th, 2005 01:58 amI got this today. I am not even sure I should reply :)
"You have the slowest site in the entire world wide web.
DON'T try to make excuses, I surf all over, and getting mail from your server
costs me time and money. The comparative speed between you and EVERY
OTHER SITE is chalk and cheese. You should be sued.
PLUS I cannot sent mail from my web mailnow that I am overseas. I don't
expect you to be able to do ANYTHING about it, because you SUCK!
THE FIRST chance I get I will find another ISP
(lusers name)
oh PS did I mention YOU SUCK?"

Date: 2005-05-12 04:56 pm (UTC)What is the origin of the phrase "like chalk and cheese", and why are they deemed to be opposites?
The phrase comes from the English county of Wiltshire, roughly divided by the London/Bristol commercial route. To the north of it the sheep bred for their wool grazed on the chalk grasslands of the Marlborough Downs, while to the south there is the Vale of Pewsey and valleys of the rivers Avon and Kennet, where on the green pasturelands dairy herds fed, providing milk and cheese.
