After this poor, poor person has spent 5 hours ont he phone with different departments today, he finally got into tech support (some of the other departments feel that they should do our job,a nd therefore try, and fuck everything up even more). After a fairly smooth 15 minutes, the customer is FINALLY online. His responce?

"You are the Queen of everything good and wonderful, and I love you. Please marry me. "

Bout damned time someone showed some gratitude!!!

I got asked on a date for a two minute fix that baffled a previous tech. The issue? "All of my icons except for four are gone, and I had just clicked on a balloon thingy at the bottom."

Couldn't figure out it was that stupid cleanup wizard, eh? We got us some techs hooked on Moronics...

Gee, sounds like the experience of some poor sap today at my company - but that was after he spent an hour with two other techs before me. :P
