MODEM ONLINE SUB HAS NO PC LIGHT. I ADVISED HIM IT IS A
BAD NIC, CAT 5 CABLE, OR MODEM. SUB THE PROCEDED TO TELL ME THAT
THE CABLE WE GAVE HIM DIDNT FIT IN THE SLOT SO HE HAD TO TAKE A
FILE AND FILE DOWN THE PLASTIC UNTIL THE CORD WOULD FIT IN THE SL
OT. I BOOKED A RT17 TO TEST, ADVISED THERE WILL BE CHARGE.

Heh. Reminds me of a call I took where the guy had filed down an old MCA card trying to fit it into a PCI slot.

Sometimes I wonder how these people manage to conduct their daily lives let alone use a computer. Only this job let's you fully understand feats of stupidity previously unknown to civiliation.
