I love working at a computer store when I get stories to tell.

One of the first calls I got for someone wanting a quote on a new system went like this:

Customer:  I want a price on a computer with the following:
Me:  OK
C:  300MHZ Pentium 2...16 megabytes of RAM...30 megabytes free hard drive space.
M:  Oh, we can definitely build a computer that good, trust m--
C:  Additional Macintosh requirements:
M:  Just stop.  Please.

Somewhat outdated software, at that.
16M of RAM?

That would *barely* run Win 98.

We won't mention that lots of 98 games don't work well under 2k/xp to the nice lady. We might have to try to explain "protected mode."

Reminds me of trying to run Unreal Tournament 1 on Win2k. That was disappointing..
