Some of these people.... argh. I have spoken with idiots before, but this is ridiculous.
TS: What color are the lights?
Luser: Yellow Red Yellow
***NOTE: we have no yellow lights. There is only Green, Orange and Red and they are very easy to tell apart***
TS: Is that middle light the deepest, darkest, bloodiest, reddest of reds you have EVER seen in a light before?
Luser: Oh yes! It's very red.
TS: You're sure it's not an amber orange?
Luser: Well, it might be.
TS: *puts Luser on hold to scream like a banshee*

I think all of our users need to go back to school to be educated on basic colors, reading, grammar and punctuation. You know what infuriates me more than the color issue? The times when I say type in a colon and they ask what a colon is. And it's taking everything in me to not scream at them, "IT'S THAT THING I'M ABOUT TO SHOVE THIS PHONE INTO, YOU MORON!!!" But no, I say, "It's the dot on top of the dot as opposed to the dot on top of the comma.

well to be fair, colour blindness *is* a disability, and while it's entirely probable to learn around it (again, "learning your colours"); it does happen that some people have vision that degrades and shifts the viewing of colours like it wasn't there before.

I'm fine for red and orange, but *please* don't make me try to tell the difference between a yellow light and a (light) green one. (I haven't seen (m)any dark green lights).

You know, had I been talking about a color-blind person, I wouldn't have bitched.
BUT I WASN'T!!! I AM TALKING ABOUT MORONS!!!!
I understand when they say yellow instead of green, that's totally cool.
It's the red and orange. There is a BIG FUCKING DIFFERENCE between the 2.
I always let the green/yellow thing pass, because I could do that too if I didn't work with this hardware all the time. But the red is a bloody red that you can't mistake. The orange is a very bright orange, nothing like the red.
