I'm about to kill myself over this.
I don't know what the dumbest of all things that I've done is. Maybe it's trusting Glenn to save me the best optical mouse at Staples. Maybe it's buying it before checking out the reviews. Maybe it's checking out the damned reviews.
I'm stressed out beyond belief.
Someone, help me.. or at least point me in the direction where there could be someone that could help me.
See, my boyfriend asked for a mouse. An optical computer mouse. He specifically asked for something that isn't cordless, but .. well, I asked my friend who works at Staples to save me their best mouse, and it turned out to be cordless. It was the "Wireless Optical Mouse blue" by Microsoft, so I blindly bought it. When I brought it home, my dad got all excited and said that he's been looking for it all over and is terribly jealous of Eric. Well, that's nice, except I went online and started looking at the reviews. Fuck me for being curious. Half the people loved it. Half the people hated the shit out of it and said it was bad for gaming because of how it wasn't precise enough. ..Most praised their Logitech computer mice and made me want to rip my hair out.
I asked a couple of my friends, and all they told me was that they trust Microsoft over anything because of the mice that THEY have: optical. But not wireless. No one I know has had any experience with this damned thing, and I no longer know if I should trust a single soul out there.
I asked Glenn what the fuck he was thinking, and he proceeded to tell me that he owns the Logitech wireless optical mouse, how he worships it, and how he can't comprehend how the same mouse by a different maker can be any worse. That's all nice, except that I don't see him ever having used "blue" and probably never will.

Help me, please. I'm lost beyond belief. I know NOTHING about electronics, but wanting to buy the best of the best just isn't working out these days.
