"Well, if none of your phones work, it's a problem with your phone company."

Most companies have innumerable employees with cell phones and pagers, as linquafranca said. Probably that.

Admittedly, it's a pretty stupid call to make.

I work at an ISP in southeaster Ohio. Primarily dialup, but we do hosting and DSL as well.
