C'mon, people!
Jan. 21st, 2005 08:42 amQuick recap: I am the sole IT support person for the area I live in for the company I work for. I support 3 offices and some 30+ remotes sites. It keeps me busy. Plus we are moving out primary administrative office as well.
So I get a call on my cell phone. This annoys me, beause I have a desk phone, it's just that my cell phone is listed in the company directory, and people end up calling it instead of my desk phone. It's a co-ordinator (they typically supervise operations at 3-5 remote sites) who is wondering if I can install a printer at a site that I was at yesterday. I took their broken printer and promised to give them it's identical twin after it gets out of the manufacturer's repair shop for some warrenty work. I will admit that I was a bit snippy when I exclaimed that the printer in question is still in the shop, and that I can't possibly install it yet.
I think I'm going to turn my cell phone on silent for the rest of today, and it's only 8:45... Where's the rum?
