I do internal support for a major company we have a system for users to create trouble tickets via an internal website, and have call agents followup/work/route the issues.

This one was priceless:

"Hi, I'm with the laptop repair team, and I have 5 laptops here that need to be fixed"

nothing quite as rewarding as workign with some joe who doesn't know his shit but got the job just because he is the boss' nephew!

Kinda reminds me of yesterday, when Customer Service tried to transfer a customer to me for a system exchange when said customer was outside of her 21 day total satisfaction period, had no service history, and was pissed b/c her third party printer from 1998 wouldn't work on her new system.

I called another supervisor over, put the CC rep on speaker, and proceeded to school him.
