Gee, lady, I'm sorry you uninstalled Acrobat 7 from your computer because it took too long to convert files to PDF, and so now you're breaking company policy by sending them out in Word, and not sending them out as read-only, so that any Joe Shmoe can change them at will. I can't install it on you machine, I have to send a ticket to deskside.

No, I can't magically install software for you. I can't remote to your desktop, and I don't have a copy of the full version of Acrobat in hand. Well, at least not a legal one. See, there's this whole, licensing issue that businesses have to deal with.

And no, I really don't mind you whining about something that I can't fix for *five freaking minutes* while you refuse to answer my questions so that level 2 can help you. The longer you don't give me the information, the longer it will take them.

No, I don't know how long that will be, its New Year's week, and if you look out the frelling window, you will see that 1/3 of the company is on vacation. Some of those people are bound to be deskside, so shut the hell up, give me your information, and I'll send the freaking ticket!

Well, at least it's nice to see your company supports open standard document formats.

Or what I keep having here:

"Sir, our technicians took the weekend off for Christmas and they are still swamped from the snow storm we had last week. You know, the one that had the city in a level 3 snow emergency? So no, they cannot get back to you today. And no, I cannot put you in contact with them. They will contact you. Whine at them about scheduling, not me. I can't do a goddamn thing about it."

God. Acrobat.

We just had a massive whinte-fest ourself as we were evil to people. If we didn't have record of a license and they didn't respond to our emails asking about them, we uninstalled it. Acrobat and Visio. Let the whining commence.
