but it's considered *Bonus* Pay and and about 40% of it is taken away in taxes...so we can afford to go and bomb more "Terrorists" (read: women and children)..
When you do your tax return, pager pay is taxed as regular income - so you get back whatever portion of it would have been in the original check had it been taxed as normal pay.
meh had pager for christmas last year... been there done that... and considering it's not grave shift.. 24/7 shift.. more of PITA than difficult.. I'll concede to your lack of pity.. =) I know how much that can suck...
