I can't believe people call in for support even on Christmas Eve.
Get a life for fucks sake.

One guy wanted me to call our wireless network provider at 5:30pm on Christmas Eve, and see if there was a fault.

Yeah buddy, like anyone is going to be around at that time on Christmas Eve.

"Most" of our customers are god fearing, right wing, ultra conservative rebulicans.

Many times in the past, I've been called on christmas day:

caller: "*gasp* why are you working on christmas!?!?" (as if I just spit upon baby jesus)

me: "why are you calling me on christmas?" (and yes, a couple of times, I've actually responded with that)

yes. I am suprised myself. this is my first christmas eve in tech support here. If I didn't know what day it was it would be hard to tell. we have our normal number of techs in today and it doesn't feel slow at all!

We closed our call centre at noon today. I'm just glad we're closed christmas day, cause I just know some idiot would call needing his WinModem piece of shit dial-up connection troubleshooted 5 minutes before we close.

Isn't it troubleshot? :)

Turns out you're right. D'oh.

I guess it's pretty apparent why my english class brought down my GPA slightly.

I didn't actually know, seriously asking :)

I've always wondered if that was right.

It's 4:28 on Christmas morning. The phones are silent and nobody's calling.

That wasn't the start of a fucking song, I'm bored out of my skull and it just happens to rhyme.

I feel a bit sorry for my office mate, myself.

We closed at 3 pm on Wednesday and don't open again until Monday. They give us Christmas eve and Christmas day off; I love working corporate support :)

And I'm on vacation next week.

But I just checked my email -- we got an email at noon yesterday, cc'd to our director. Suck it up, you're off!
