I work in tech support for an ISP. I deal with the customers through a chat interface which sometimes makes them a little bit easier to deal with. This customer though, I just laughed out loud at.

me: [standard greeting] How can I help you?
cust: Cannot start Microsoft Outlook. The command line argument is not valid. Verify the switch you are using.

I know this isn't really a [ISP] problem. But can you help?

Three guesses as to what my reply was and the first two don't count. :P

The same reply I gave when a customer was trying to hook one of our computers up to a competitor's computer using a third party router and a third party OS?

Ping 127.0.0.1
Did it work?
Great, call Microsoft. Or HP. Or Belkin. Or someone.
