Me: "The computer has to be ON to actually see the screen properly. Its relatively new technology, I understand your dumbfuckedness."

It's fun to be standing behind someone and tell them to reboot only they hit shut down instead.

I usually give them a full minute of staring blankly at a blank screen before I say "you need to press the power button to turn it on"
