We spent $22,000 on an unnecessary library card system. It takes the patron's picture and signature and prints them directly onto the card along with the barcode and various library information. The system never works and we were given very little in the way of training and manuals. We finally came across the manual for the card printer. Safe to say it was improperly translated. I know that we've all had manuals like these but this has to be the worst one I've ever seen.
