So a client just called us because they had an issue with a plug-in. He had his company's IT guy on the phone with him. When he discribed the problem it was clear that he did not have any plug-in installed. I asked, did you install said plug-in... the IT guy replied no, we did not. Yeah, please make the stoopid stop.

For a while I had a published technote in our knowledge base that said "All Lotus products must be installed to function."
Eventually an editor failed to see the humor, but I got a lot of comments on it for the few years it was published.
