We get a lot of "connection speed" customers in email, asking us how to increase their connection speed above 24k or 30k or whatever. But, this one just bugged the hell out of me...
"In the past month, the connection speed has slowed from 49333bps to 48000bps.
Please let me know when this problem will be fixed."
Even before I was a tech of any sort, I understood that connection speeds weren't an exact science, and that the difference between those two speeds was infinitesimal (sp?).
Not only that, but the way he worded it, as if there's only one explanation for why this has occurred...
Hmmm...Maybe I shouldn't go straight into another tech support job...
