There was a guy in town that got busted for kiddypr0n. He claimed that his daughter had caught a "trojan virus through mirc" and the computer had downloaded it all by itself.

He was convicted.

Or he really might HAVE had a kiddypr0n server his daughter cuaght thru mirc. His defense is certainly more plausible than "I have no idea how that got there!!!"

The pervs that run those kinds of sites do use zombies to host them. Along with scammers, spammers, and crooks in general. I have found zombified machines serving up what I suspected was child or bestality porn. I just delete it without saying a word to anyone. Most people don't WANT to know what their 0wn3d machine is being used for, and they're lucky if the feds don't find it first.

I was talking to someone in Sweden a couple years ago, and he brought up Chernobyl. He spelled it the way it appears in my username, and it turns out tha that's the spelling the Swedes use. The original spelling is in the Cyrillic alphabet, so a couple of ways have come out. I really liked this one, and remembered it when I was trying to pick a username.

Incidentally, the "official" transliteration straight out of the Ukraine is "Chornobyl". It means 'Mugwort'. I don't like that one so much :)
