Caller: I talked to a tech yesterday after I got my new computer and setup my e-mail, but today I installed Microsoft office and now I don't have an e-mail account anymore.
Me: Microsoft office includes an e-mail program called Outlook. Looks like you our tech had you setup Outlook Express yesterday. Go to all programs and find Outlook Express and open that program.
Caller: oh duh!

*giggles*

After you get past the difference between Outlook and OE, they're usually fine :)

Yeah.

At work we're the opposite -- we use Outlook. When I was tech (before I got promoted/bribed back to the help desk) I always deleted every icon I could find for OE when I set up a PC, since invariably someone would open it, then call griping because they couldn't get their email and insist they had Outlook and not OE open.
