Aug. 7th, 2004 12:20 amGood evening.
I am your host, Salem. Melly could not be here tonight.
She wanted to make a post about a game she's been playing lately called Zuma, but she's too busy PLAYING Zuma.
So I'm here. She'd like me to pass along this quote.
"This isn't a video game, this is video CRACK."
Mothers, don't let your children grow up to play Zuma...it's a dangerous, dangerous thing...

Date: 2004-08-07 08:51 am (UTC)Yes, I know this game. Not by any name... something Bubble? Bobble? [Not Puzzle Bobble or whatever it's called, with the many levels and having to pop the bubbles... another addictive OLD game with 100+ levels o_O]
Um... now I want to go play it. Damn.

Date: 2004-08-09 11:21 pm (UTC)I _LOVE_ bubble bobble.
I also love playing Adventures of LoLo.
A cute, bug-eyed blue ball of fluff that shoots out fireball-type things, that freeze or kill baddies (how kirby!) and has to go through mazes/rooms full of baddies, pushing blocks to keep then from killing him, and making a path to a door for the next level that will open once all the hearts are picked up.
old. addictive. fun.

Date: 2004-08-09 11:04 pm (UTC)The only gauntlet puzzle that I've tackled as of Saturday is the Spiral of Doom. I'e reached Sun God 3, and I will not move on to another puzzle until I defeat it!
Right now, my game is saved at level 9. Oh, the humanity!

Date: 2004-08-07 02:19 pm (UTC)BTW: if you're playing Doom 3 in a dark room, lock your door, that way if someone walks up behind you, you don't get scared and hit them with something. Doom 3 is scary. It looks awesome. But it is repetitive.
Therefore: Doom 3 is repetitively scary and looks awesome.

(ie - runs like a slideshow at roughly 3 frames per minute).
