Emptyness abounds here in the wasteland of early morning. Commuters just starting out from their suburban enclaves will be gathering here shortly. Armed with Starbucks and a sense of entitlement they will call. They will berate, abuse and sigh loudly when their way is not had.

I too am armed, but with knowledge, experience and with the most important tool of all. Admin access to all of their machines.

So here I sit, lying in wait, as it were, for the first one to strike at me.

Thank you for calling tech support, your ass is mine.

teeheehee you would think since they call so often for password resets (mind you I don't know the last time I forgot my log in password) that they would connect the two. Being rude = account freezing/ exchange server moves/ temporary lock outs, etc

nah, bleach.

Armed with Starbucks

Starbucks sucks... I like the little local shop better. If I have to go chain, I usually try to go with Caribou.

Damn it.. It lost my other reply (really, I had nothing to do with it.. I didn't throw the machine across the room when it said "Document Contains No Data")

Anyway.. What I said, was that I had a stupid user moment and hit post before I commented and said that I liked the poem and to replace 'Starbucks' with 'basement coffee shop' at Marquette.

This should be on a plaque above the doorway of every place that does Tech Support.
