Got back an old machine today and was tearing it down to rebuild it.

Turned it around to take the case screws out and noticed lables.

Next to the NIC jack: "Big red phone"

*facepalm*

I laughed for about a half hour.

Of course, I /do/ describe network jacks to the users as big phone jacks, it should be red and the cable will be blue or white or grey.

They still do things like plug their printer in with a phone cord, then wonder why it's not on the network.

For one of my last jobs, the Big red phone is the one to launch the nukes
