This was my embarrassing call of the day where I just felt like a dork:

ME: "Thank you for calling _____ Macintosh Technical Support. My name is Melissa. Can I please get your email address?"

User: "I can't compute."

ME: "Pardon me?"

User: "I can't compute."

ME: "I don't understand."

User: "I can't compute."

ME: "Look, I don't know what that is supposed to mean, but I need your email address."

User: "That's it. My email address is icantcompute."

ME: "You mean, icantcompute@domain.net?"

User: "Yes."

ME: *laughing hysterically* "I'm so sorry sir. I didn't realize." giggle giggle giggle

Hahahahaha.....

I know the feeling. There has been more then one time when I have asked a customer for their e-mail address and they will say their full name so I respond with "no, I need your e-mail address" and of course they respond with their full name, and after asking them 2 or 3 times it finally hits me that their full name IS their e-mail address...ugh...
