I work in the support center supporting employees for a major computer component manufacturer. While I don't have to deal with end users (thank god!) Some of these folks are scarier. Call from today:

User: I try to install Office 2003 from [software supply website] and I get the error "The expected version cannot be found." I hit ok and it installs Office 2k which is what I am trying to upgrade from

Me: *Connected remotely to his desktop* How many times have you run the installer?

User: 5 or 6 at least

Me: Your computer seems to be running a little on the slow side. When was the last time you defragged?

User: Last week or so I think

Me: *run the analyze on defrag never trusting customers* Well sir, your hard drive only has 41MB free and you are 89% fragmented

User: Well fine but why can't I install Office 2003?

*gives up*

you should ask him how easy it will be to remeber the manual when he only has 41 cells left in his brain.

A) Maybe you should try using a computer that was made within this decade.
B) Unlike your taxes, it needs to be done more than once a year (or more for you naughty tax evaders! :P)
C) Well, the space you have left on your hard drive and your IQ are the same, the difference is, you can upgrade your disk space.
