Got this errormessage at work.

Glad it's giving me choices!

Not strictly on topic, and I'm sure some of you don't care or may wish to mock me, BUT, I just took my first Microsoft-certified exam (70-270) and I freaking passed it!  WHOOO HOO FOR ME.  Next time I get shit from a User Who Thinks They Know Better Than Me, I'm gonna wave my MCP certificate in their faces, lol.

We have a remote backup solution for end user machines, particularly laptops, and one of my users (a developer) needed to recover some files from a dead laptop. He, of course, forgot his password since most folks rarely need to go into the web portal of their account for anything. On the logon page, there's your typical "Forgot Password?" link, so he naturally clicked on it to try resetting his password.

The only problem is, he got an interesting surprise:

He emailed me a screenshot of it and I didn't believe it until I went and looked for myself. Yea... support fail....

Software developers, take heed. If you intend to include error messages in your application that say 'Contact your system administrator', please, for the love of all that is holy, also include a button that says 'I am the goddamn system administrator, now tell me what the f**k is wrong'. It would be really, really helpful.

Once people pass calls to me, there isn't really anywhere higher for them to go. C'mon, do us all a favour and give us something to work with, yeah?

Cheers.
