Microsoft to open retail stores

Oh man. Am I the only one thinking this is a phenomenally bad idea? Finally, an actual face to microsoft. A living breathing, physically present face that you can reach out and punch the living shit out of when you’ve finally snapped after being donkey-fucked to hell and back by their tech support and dodgy software.

Exaggeration? Maybe, but we’ve all worked support - how many times have we had someone threaten various bodily harm because their modem is hosed? Or we won’t issue pirated software? Or god forbid they can’t have their pretty pink pony desktop background?

They’d better put the staff behind bullet proof glass....
