false positive woes

Our consumer product had a major false positive over there weekend, so I am looking at over 560 emails in my inbox... ugh. I don't even wanna check my god-knows how many voicemails...

I work on the 7th floor. If I were to leap from it today, would I make it? Hmmm...

chaos!

Yes, amid all this false positive chaos, I get the dumbest email I have ever read:

I downloaded it to the desktop and it would not load because my OS is win98se. MY fault. However when I tried to delete it, it says I cannot. It doesn't show up in the add/remove. How to I remove it.

I wanted to reply: Sir, I think you answered your own question. My work here is done.

More reasons to hate my current job

Ever get the feeling that you were lied to from the moment you showed up for an interview?

For instance, I was given the impression that I would actually be applying for a techsupport job. Silly of me, I know, given that the job ad read "techsupport", the recruiting company told me it was techsupport, and the interviewing managers were adamant it was techsupport.

So when I was handed ten random jobs from the incoming mailbox today, why did not ONE of them actually involve anything technical?

Maybe I should just go tell the Big Bosses they could cut the staffing budget in half if they got rid of the "techs" who are just being secretaries for someone else.
