(call log notes from a call I had on friday)
* Customer indicates his friend gave him (OS UPDATE) on a disk because it would be faster then downloading it via his dialup connection.
* Customer indicates he copied the update to his computer but it still says (VERSION BEFORE OS UPDATE).
* Asked customer if he had run update; customer told me not to talk to him like he didn't know what he was doing. Customer pointed out (OS UPDATE) file on his desktop as proof that he got it installed.
* Advised customer to double click on update file. Customer indicates new screen came up that he'd never seen before. Advised customer to wait until it had finished and then restart, and then check his OS version.
* Customer disconnected call.
