How many times do I have to tell you: DON'T OPEN ATTACHMENTS!
So, with all the viruses going around, you'd think anyone who's used the Internet for more than five minutes would know NOT to open attachments or crazy email. Apparently not. Keep in mind, this guy is licensed to prescribe drugs:
One of the nursing instructors came to my office because he'd found this weird email in his inbox. He said he knew who it was from, but that that person never sent him email and didn't understand why he would now. He admitted the subject was very strange. So he opened the email and saw that it had a .zip attachment. He didn't know what a .zip file was, so he decided to download and open it. A few minutes later, his antivirus software popped up telling him he had a virus. That's when he decided to come ask me if this email was a problem.
It was all I could do to look at him without laughing my ass off or beating him with a Big Foam ClueBat. It took me a good hour to scan his machine and make sure all the infected files had been removed. Then I had to send *another* email to the entire campus reminding them not to be stupid about their email.
If you can't use email responsibly, or you just don't have two brain cells to rub together, then DON'T USE IT. Save me some pain, okay?
