Hi all... just joined. I've worked ISP tech support in various departments, and now I work in a store, repairing PC's.

I am way underpaid... but my customer interaction only consists of...

"Hi, how can I help you?"
"My [insert corporate brand name here] computer is messed up."
"Can you give me a general idea of what is happening?"
"It [blah blah blah windows blah blah blah]."
"OK, I'll call you when I'm done with it."

Thank the BOFH god for small favors.

anyway... saw this today:

I prefer to think of it as Satan's revenge on us techies for knowing more than him.

"Yes, it's TempleNetworks.com, all spelled out."

I mean, honestly, how can you shorten that? Is there some sort of common abbreviation for 'temple' or 'networks' that I've just been missing all these years?
