After quitting tech support a year & a half ago (for good, supposedly, to attend school full-time), I found I needed a summer job. So I'm a tech again.
Day 2: I'd forgotten how stupid some end-users can be. Today, one extremely helpful user decided to delete files that could be viruses. Apparently, she was looking thru the WINNT directory (why????) and saw an unfamiliar file, and deleted it. She deleted winlogin.exe. On all the NT machines. To be helpful.
