Date: 2011-11-25 04:53 pm (UTC)Most of our machines have at ~least~ N+1 Power Redundancy (this particular machine is N+2), so with very rare exceptions, a single PSU failure will never take a machine down.
I haven't checked up on the case lately (I have 50+ cases in my queue ATM), so I don't know what the outcome of the Field visit was yet.
ETA - just checked the Update from the FE. Their OS blew up. He configured the ILOM, and booted the machine fine from a Suse image.
