Same here.

With the caveat that I've mostly *spoken* about GUIs in German, living in Germany as I do. So my English contact with GUIs has primarily been through the written word (documentation, emails, etc.).

Every instructor and tech I've ever dealt with pronounced it so.

'Course, they're all Canadians, and we all know how we butcher the language. :-P

...whats it pronounced like if not "gooey?" I thoguht that was how people said it (saying "gee u eye" aside, I suppose).
