Me: Ok, that's a liquid sensor. At some point this phone came in contact with water.
Customer: No it hasn't.

The bowl was removed. The following morning, I found my brand new EVO where the bowl was. Dodged a bullet there.
I think the biggest lie from phone customers has got to be "but I never got it wet!".
