ETA: I should clarify, that what is fairly common for people to do, instead of just simply copying/pasting the text directly off the terminal (which is easier for both them and myself), is that they either a)send a screenshot of the terminal, or b)complicate matters by sending me document files, rich text, or even pdf's with the requested text.

this chick took it a step further and sent me a picture of the terminal embedded in a document file!

really? oy! if you have the ability to login and find out a disk has failed, you should be able to figure out just to paste the text :P
