several of my users have.. some hit it in Thunderbird when they make folders in folders in folders in folders.. i think the deepest i've seen is about 10
I recently discovered that due to some freak of unnature and a few too many migrations of data, my iTunes folder had done something like that, about four layers deeper under My Music than it ought to be. I'll be fixing that just as soon as I can.
But yeah, I kinda assume backup/restore action is to blame there.
