From a coworker: There's a restaurant that we recently installed a point-of-sales system into not that long ago. Customer calls in complaining that he can't run a report, it gives him blank data and zeroes.

Customer: I'm trying to run this $EXPLETIVE report, but it won't give me any sales data!
Coworker: Okay...
Customer: It won't run first quarter... or second quarter...
Coworker: Well, how long ago was the system installed?
Customer: *stunned silence*
Coworker: *headdesk* You can only get data for days you were actually open and had sales...

*sigh* I can't wait for Friday.

Sounds like my lusers....

They call in all the time. "I am trying to run the reports for the day but they are showing 0 and says that there is NOTHING TO REPORT."
me: What terminal number does it say you ran the report for?
them: Uh, it says terminal 13
me: And how many registers are in your store?
them: We have 2
me: Well, seeing as the report was ran for terminal 13 and you only have 2 registers, that might be why there is NOTHING TO REPORT.
them: I don't understand
me: Rerun the report and enter in 2 for the terminal number and it will print out the appropriate data
them: (tapping on the screen) oh,. it does
me: Yep, surprising isn't it?
