No, I said EITHER a 478 or a 775. NOT BOTH!

Yes, fuckbrains crammed a 478 chip into his new 775 motherboard.

He thought by doing so, that he could save $30. Now he has to spend $300 to replace all of the shit. 80% of the pins look banged up bad.

In other news, at least this guy asked first: http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/171104-28-adapter

*headdesk*

I should so take a picture of this...

...and yes, he blamed me.

I'm mostly hardware-retarded and I even know that.

There's only one solution to this problem.

.308

(I'm sure many of you will have other opinions.)

I'd go with 30mm, myself. 4 of them, in fact (see userpic)

Consider, if you will, the sheer volume of Teh Stupid that is out there. Sufficient quanities of .308 (and good god, 30mm) would consume WAY too much beer money. Subsonic 9mm for a suppressed pistol (or rifle) (http://crankylabs.com/gallery/range/LL9L3014) can be had for much less.

Practical AND Fun!

Point. Okay, .45ACP, then.

The thing is you have to get much closer to the stupid for that to work. I like .308 for it's ability to reach out and fuck someone's shit up. It's still rather economical compared to other rounds for that purpose, especially as surplus 7.62 is readily available.

(I also picked a three-digit number in keeping with the OP.)
