So there I am in a hole-in-the-wall bank, bagging up the unused patch cables and leftover twisties from midwifing their new networking gear in and old gear out from among the other phones, faxes, copiers, credit card terminals, PC terminals, printers, outlet strips, surge protectors, battery backups, intercoms, lamps, fans, radios, electric pencil sharpeners, bill counters, change sorters, space heaters, hot plates, and crock pots, and the woman in charge of the location says,

"Can you do something to get rid of the rest of these cords? We really don't like wires."

One of the departments where I work requested that we set up wireless for them. When it was done, the manager over there was straight on the phone asking what all these cables were still doing in her office. Unfortunately, she was expecting more than just the network cables to be removed. Two years down the line, I spent an afternoon putting all the cables back in.
