Oh that's priceless.

My favorite will always be the first time I ever came across any kind of content filtering. 7th grade biology class had a computer day to look up stuff for reports (yay netscape!)

Every single topic came up blocked, the teacher just gave up and let us play on the compies until the period was over.

Hahaha.. we had blocks on our computers in Journalism class in high school. We figure out that if you opened a webpage through Word (I can't remember exactly how, this was about 7 years ago), it wouldn't get blocked.

There was a way if you opened help and put the url into the help's address bar or something?

I think it was something like there being a URL bar in the toolbar? Egh I can't remember, and every computer I have has Office 07 on it so I can't check :/

back in '95...

When every kid first touched the internet, we eventually did a history report on the White House.

Every kid went to whitehouse.com.

It turned into a quick Sex Ed. class.

I just went there to see what they replaced it with.

First page, there are a series of polls. Second one:

Are you going to Vote early or are you waiting until Election Day to Vote?
[]Yes
[]No

Huh?

It's talking about an advance poll; if you can't vote on the day, you can send in your vote in advance, usually by mail.

...It asked an either/or question then let you choose yes/no...
