Today I encountered a database that would not reindex its largest table unless there was a remainder of 9/10th of a gigabyte free
as in, you couldn't just have x GB of free space on the disk, it had to be exactly x.9 GB.
Otherwise, you got "Insufficient disk space" and a crashed app.
The product's tech support confirmed this and that it was a problem in the Borland database engine they used.
Now I know why Borland named it Paradox.
On an unrelated note, I tried the McPhillyCheez™Steak today.
My expectations of McFood are never exactly high, but when it comes to this atrocity they went WAY beyond the deepest depths I could have ever imagined.
